Welcome to the homepage for the CIMPA School on Noncommutative Geometry and Index Theory that will take place from December 3rd to December 15th, 2018.

This school is mainly directed to graduate students, although it is open for advanced undergraduate students. It will consist of 6 courses in English given by experts in the area, training sessions, problems/interaction sessions and contributed talks by some of the participants.

It will take place in the Center for Research in Mathematics, Merida unit (CIMAT). This research center is located in the Science and Technology Park of Yucatan. The address is Carretera Sierra Papacal-Chuburná Puerto, Km 5.5, CP 97302, Sierra Papacal, Mérida, Yucatán, Mexico.

It is necessary to register to attend. Registration is now open. The registration deadline is July 29th, 2018 and there will be a maximum of 30 accepted students. Students and faculty members from institutions in a developing country different from Mexico can apply for financial support from CIMPA. Visit the Registration tab to register and more information.

The school does not have a registration fee. It includes lodging and lunch for the accepted participants, but our budget is limited, so we would appreciate it if the participants who count with additional support could cover part of their lodging costs.
